DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jul. 3 (SMM) - The onset of the high-demand season for fodder failed to boost zinc oxide consumption significantly, SMM finds.
"Consumption of zinc oxide used in fodder only accounts for a small proportion in total demand”, SMM zinc analyst explains.
Orders from tire and ceramic sectors shrank noticeably due to the slow season, according to zinc oxide producers.
Prices for indirect zinc oxide fell to 15,200-15,600 yuan per tonne this past week with plunging zinc prices, SMM data show.
